More and more of these ’clubstaurants’ are popping up bringing party destination restaurants to Paris. Think Saint Tropez but in the capital – long dinners with plenty of wine, champagne and cocktails going down mixed with some really good food. Our list of our favorite party restaurants in Paris are in no particular order. You can expect 2 dinner services with the majority starting at around 11pm until 2am.
Mamamia
Mamamia is an awesome Italian party restaurant, located just off the Champs-Elysées. From the outside it appears relatively low-key but inside there’s a remarkable open dining space with large tables, quirky decor and low lighting.
One of my favorite parts of Mamamia is their awesome mafia themed speakeasy which is under the main restaurant area. It’s a dark, moody club/bar space that’s a perfect place to grab a cocktail before you eat. After dinner, it transforms into a club space with a live DJ playing until 4am on weekends.
In the main restaurant area, it’s extremely comfy and even when it’s busy, the service is slick, attentive and friendly. The tables are far apart which for me is a big bonus!
The food is extremely good and, although on the pricier side, you really get what you pay for. Ingredients are ultra high quality and the cooking is precise. Their lobster ravioli entree is killer and comes with Oscietra Caviar (which is incredible) and a thick, flavourful bisque. My other entree was a superb (and probably the best I’ve eaten in Paris) beef carpaccio. Thinly sliced fillet beef was really well seasoned and comes with a beautifully nutty mayonnaise and a deluge of parmesan.
On the mains side there’s some awesome options. The lamb canon was perfectly cooked and was served with crispy polenta and a lovely, and superbly smooth, aubergine purée. The highlight for me was their incredibly octopus. Braised then grilled, it was so tender – one of the best octopus I’ve ever had. Served with some creative, yet really tasty purées.
Depending on when you come, there’s a live singer or performer (usually between 9-11pm) and a DJ between. The music gets louder matching the atmosphere (as the drinks flow) and it gets hectic towards midnight – it’s really fun! It is expensive but the service, quality of food and drinks are well worth it.

Verde
Located on the prestigious Avenue George V, Verde is a really fun Mediterranean inspired party restaurant. Just like their fantastic beach club in Saint Tropez, the food and ambiance is incredible.
The main restaurant is below the ground floor (which adds to the club feel). Upon entering there’s a cloak room and a small bar which is a great place to grab a cocktail if you’re waiting for others on your table.
Downstairs is super moody yet bright and contemporary. The decor is fun and as the night goes on, the lights get dimmer. Service is slick, friendly and attentive – you won’t be waiting long here for drinks or food!
The food at Verde is top class and as you might expect, it isn’t cheap but boy is it good. There’s plenty of classics on offer – truffle pizza, tuna tataki and burrata – but they’re not like in an average café in Paris – they’re really good. Seasoning is spot on and there’s plenty of delicious garnishes. Their signature crispy langoustine entree is superb – langoustine tails cooked to a perfect mi-cuit (how it should be) and served with a lovely green herb sauce.
Over to the mains, there are some killer options. Duck breast is perfectly cooked, seasoned and rested and it’s served with a slick jus and herb oil. Their fillet steak is just perfect – I ordered it blue and it was edge to edge perfection. It comes with a refined (and fine-dining worthy) demi-glace sauce and truffle fries.
Finally the desserts match the rest of the courses – they’re well thought out and perfectly executed. My favourite is their coconut dessert with mango and passion fruit sorbet – delicious.

La Casbah
La Cashbah is a really good Moroccan restaurant in the 11th arrondissement, in the Bastille area. Restaurant upstairs and club downstairs, it’s a really fun night out with some great drinks and killer food.
Their menu mainly revolves around smaller, sharing plates with lots of modern twists on Moroccan classics. Baba Ganoush, tabbouleh salad, falafel and hummus are awesome and very reasonable. If you’re in the mood for something special they do a killer whole lamb shoulder, slow roasted with spices – it’s superb.
They don’t have performances each night but there’s a DJ playing up stairs and after 10:30pm, the club room opens downstairs.
